Bell
Ringing for the Salvation Army
Each
December, The Allentown Rotary Club volunteers to help the Salvation
Army ring bells at one of their collection sites. It takes
only an hour or two for each volunteer and is a great opportunity
for "hands on" assistance during the holiday season
to a well-recognized local charitable organization.
Community

Annually,
The Allentown Rotary Club awards Community Service Grants are

limitations of their use at the discretion and recommendation
of the Allentown Rotary Board and Foundation.
Meals
on Wheels
The
Allentown Rotary Club has a history of service for Meals
on Wheels of Lehigh County,
which began as taking the New Years day shift when the regular
volunteers had the holiday off. Now, there is a regular rotation
to help service that need in an ongoing basis. Our members have
taken an incredible amount of pride in helping provide nutritious
meals to those who depend on the assistance.
Monte
Carlo Night at The Good Shepherd

night for their residents. Complete with roulette, carnival games
and prizes, this event benefits the long-term residents of the
Good
Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital. It really helps to enliven
the days of people who deeply appreciate the event.
